It's busy times here in the Awatere as we continue with blending and finishing 2022 wines. The Awatere River Sauvignon Blanc has been filtered and is ready to be bottled. The new wines always look so fresh, punchy and zingy. Now we move on to the Awatere River Pinot Gris and will set to work on getting the Spindrift Rose ready for bottling. We have a bit of breathing space to give the Chardonnay barrels another stir and top them up, and to check on the Sauvignon Blanc in oak. There's no rushing these wines.
