Spindrift Rose awarded Top #3 & 5 Stars 

We've been celebrating our Awatere River Spindrift Rose 2021, being awarded top #3 position and five stars in Cuisine Magazines NZ & International Rose competition 2022.

Spindrift Rose is our tribute to the legendary white horse called Spindrift who still lives on…roaming the rolling hills of Flaxbourne where both she and this wine were conceived.

We're delighted with the recognition for our single-vineyard Pinot rose, which we make in a dry, elegant style.  

"A bright crushed-watermelon colour to the eye with aromas of lush, ripe summer fruits and florals on the nose. These flow through to a relaxed, understated, and balanced yet somehow energetic palate with flavours of cherries and raspberries. A complex rosé with a very smart texture and lasting mouthfeel."
